I provided a book to be bound and the shipping process was very easy and Val even made bookmarks of the old cover as a commemorative piece! The packaging was absolutely top-tier and receiving and opening the finished book truly felt like an experience. The finished product is so beautiful in person. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Val is at her craft (art?)!
I sent her a very old large family bible that was nearly in pieces from being used and loved by dozens of people (often children) over many years.

Val rebound the book, created a new cover and spine, put everything back in shape. But that isn’t all.

She tried very hard (and succeeded) to capture and maintain the look and “feel” of the original. She repaired and enhanced the picture on the front. She beautifully matched the old style lettering and did an elegant simplified version of the pretty scrollwork that decorated the original.

Along the way, she emailed me with thoughtful questions, seeking to make sure she and I had the same vision for the book. She asked if there was a special quote or scripture I would like put on the back cover! I would never have thought of that, but having my favorite scripture written on the back makes it that much more special.

She even took the original spine from the old book and trimmed it and laminated it into a lovely bookmark - what a sweet keepsake and a way to still hold onto a piece of that beloved original! So thoughtful! So kind!

She treated my beat up old Bible with love and respect and gave it back the dignity and sacred feeling it had when it was new.

Oh - and her price was extremely reasonable for the amount of work she put into it!

I’m forever grateful and would recommend her services to anyone who has a book they love or want restored.

This was an amazing buy! I’m a huge fan of The Summer I Turned Pretty, and have read all the books a couple of years ago, so I bought this after seeing it on TikTok, in honor of the final season coming to an end. It got here way ahead of schedule, and I read the entire thing in about 5 days, to get ready for the series finale of the show. I LOVE this rebound omnibus! It’s so classy, stylish, and it’s clear that a lot of effort was put in to making it exceptional; the bookmark with the heart and the infinity symbol together is an amazing touch, and I really enjoy having all three books together in one place.
