I’ve loved fantasy books since I was a kid (the first series I remember reading was A Series of Unfortunate Events). I drifted away from reading for a while, then got pulled back in a couple years ago thanks to ACOTAR and BookTok. Around that same time, I started watching others create their own bookbinding videos and it inspired me to teach myself — and just a few months later, in February 2024, ValBinds was born! 💝

Outside of binding, I love crafts and DIYs, I’m always bouncing between thriller and fantasy books, and I’m a huge animal lover (cat + dog mom!). I was also a teacher for 6 years before this dream became my reality, which still blows my mind because now I spend my days devouring books, bookbinding, crafting and traveling with my husband. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What started as a personal passion project has grown into a heartfelt mission: to breathe new life into beloved stories through handcrafted, one-of-a-kind rebinds. Each book I create is a blend of form and function—made to be both beautiful and durable. Whether it’s a cherished favorite or a gifted rebind, I believe every book deserves a second chance to shine. ♡
